We yearn to find homes for every adoptable dog in our care. That being said, it is especially heartbreaking when a pup is returned to us after spending time in a real home. That’s what happened to Emmett, a wonderful dog who’s really still just a puppy. Emmett was adopted out as a baby but came back to the shelter as an anxious teen-ager, in need of continued socializing and reassurance. Now this handsome boy is hoping for his second chance at happily-ever-after in a loving home. Could it be yours? Read on!
Emmett is a shy, gentle dog who needs a little time to warm to new faces. Once he does, he’s the sweetest, most friendly lad ever. Staff speak highly of his cuddly, playful nature and trainability. He already walks well on leash and understands all his basic obedience. He’s also highly dog social, and loves to romp with his doggy playmates here at the Ranch. He might do best in a home with another dog or two. Emmett is a sensitive, anxious soul who will thrive in a calm environment with reassuring caregivers. Give him plenty of unconditional love and praise and watch his confidence blossom!
Emmett is crate-trained, house-trained, and friendly with cats, with his whole life before him. What more could anyone possibly ask? Are you the family Emmett has been waiting for? Call the Ranch to meet this special boy today!
