Every wizard needs to find his or her perfect niche–and Malfoy is no exception! This enchanting pup is the last of his litter to find a forever home. He was raised through our puppy program back in 2022 and four years later he’s still waiting for that perfect match. If we could wave a wand and make his family appear you can bet we’d do it! Short on legs and long on ears, we suspect Malfoy is some kind of hound mix. And like any self-respecting hound, he can be a little selective when it comes to hearing commands. After all, the world is full of exciting smells and sounds and it’s up to him to suss it out! Kindness and patience are the key to Malfoy’s heart (and a few treats never hurt any wizard). At root, Malfoy is an eager, friendly guy who lives life to the full. Here at the Ranch he’s confident, playful, and soaks up attention like a sponge. Outside of the shelter, however, Malfoy can be shy and uncertain. He’s spent almost his entire life in our care and needs time to adjust to new situations and new faces.
The good news is that Malfoy is house-trained, crate-trained, leash-trained, and knows Sit. He’s a rockstar in puppy playgroups here at the Ranch and would love a doggy pal or two. He’s not a fan of cats. Our spunky little wizard will be happiest in a quiet family who will give him time to decompress and blossom into the companion he was born to be.
