I am posting for my brother who rescued and is fostering “Duke.” Duke has been neutered and well taken care of but is in need of a forever home. Duke was supposed to go to a K-9 officer as it is believed he would be a good candidate to be trained as a K-9 bite dog. Duke has a very sweet affectionate site but his very high drive. He is currently being fostered in a home with another male Mal and female GSD and they need to be separated. He has some basic commands down but needs an experienced handler. We are trying to prevent him being placed in a kill shelter and hope that someone with experience and love for this highly intelligent breed will adopt him.
