Lovely Miss Brandy has been waiting at our shelter for almost 3 years. She so deserves a loving home full of all the best things in life. Brandy is quick to learn and very eager to please. More than anything else, she wants to be close to her people. She’ll gladly crawl into your lap for cuddles–whether or not you’re actually sitting down! She enjoys car rides and socializing with all kinds of humans. She’s quick-thinking and eager, a perfect playmate for an active adopter. Brandy knows Sit, Down and Stay, and walks well on leash. She can be strong, but she’s easy to correct, so training is simple. A yard where she can run and plenty of regular exercise will keep this lass happy. She’d make a fabulous outdoors adventure buddy!
As wonderful as Brandy is with humans, she’s not at her best around other dogs. We’ve tried matching her with a playmate but so far we haven’t found the right fit for her temperament. It’s possible that with a careful introduction she might accept a canine playmate. But we think she’ll be happiest as an only pet.
