Gentle Floyd is one of our hidden gems here at the Ranch. He’s been with us for more than eighteen months now, waiting for someone to give him a chance. Floyd is a dignified pup, affectionate without being clingy. He’d make a wonderful choice for anyone who wants a dog’s companionship without the hassle of providing constant entertainment. All he needs is a yard of his own and a comfy bed and he’ll be happy as a king.
Floyd is a sensitive, sweet-tempered dog, a bit shy with new folks but eager for belly rubs once he’s warmed up. He’s smart, too, and never forgets a friend. He’ll be fantastically loyal to his family. He’s housebroken, leash-trained, and knows Sit, Down, and Shake. He watches his handler attentively for cues and is eager to please. Your attention is his biggest reward. Floyd gets along best with female dogs, and might do well with the right canine companion. We were told he grew up with cats and kids. What more could you ask?
