Gorgeous Floyd is one of our hidden gems here at the Ranch. It’s crazy that a dog this wonderful has been waiting so long to find his forever family! Floyd is dignified and affectionate without being clingy, a wonderful choice for anyone looking for a loyal and easy-care companion. All he needs to be perfectly happy is a yard to watch over, a comfy bed, a canine companion, and an occasional belly rub. Give him an occasional adventure into the bargain and he’ll count his lucky stars!
Floyd is sensitive and sweet-tempered, reserved with strangers while deeply loyal to his chosen humans. He needs a little time to warm up but once you’ve earned his trust he loves attention. He’s smart, house trained, leash-trained, and knows Sit, Down, and Shake. He watches his handler attentively for cues and is eager to please. Your praise is his biggest reward.
Floyd gets along best with female dogs but would probably be just as happy as your one and only. While Floyd knows about cats, he has shown some prey drive toward them in the past. Caution is recommended.
