Meet Georgie

Georgie1

My name is Georgie and I’m a very good girl! I grew up in the Rescue Ranch foster program and was adopted when I was small. But that home didn’t work out for me, so I came back to the Ranch. I love my friends here, but I don’t like sleeping in a kennel at night. What I want more than anything else is a home of my own!

I know how to walk on a leash and I can even S-I-T for treats. I’ve learned some other words too, like C-O-M-E, S-T-A-Y, and D-O-W-N. I’m very smart and I’m sure I can learn more tricks if I’m given the chance. The folks at the Ranch say I have a lot of energy and love to bounce and play, especially with other dogs my size. My foster home said I can be a bit overwhelming for smaller dogs, though. I guess sometimes my excitement gets the better of me.

I do love kids, and I know about cats. Please don’t think badly of me for chasing them when they run away! I might be an even better girl in a home without small animals. Mostly I just want a family that will give me lots of hugs and snuggles, take me out for adventures, and let me sleep on the sofa. I absolutely love people and I will make my family very happy. Please come to the Ranch to meet me today!

Walk-ins are welcome, but please check our hours before coming to visit. If you’re coming from a long way to meet a specific dog, we encourage you to call us first to be sure they’re available and on site when you visit. Phone: (530) 842-0829.
