If you’re looking for a loyal dog in need of plenty of TLC, Bella may be just the girl for you. This timid girl needs time, patience, and a stable home to help her come out of her shell. She’s been through a lot of uncertainty the last few years, and we’d love to see her find a home where she can retire in peace and comfort.
Though she’s in her senior years, Bella adores her daily exercise and would even make a wonderful jogging partner! Outdoors, she’s spunky and energetic and ready for all kinds of calm adventures. Indoors, she’s quiet, fully potty-trained and very polite. With proper introductions, she can be exuberantly playful with other dogs. However, she’s the jealous type and prefers being the center of attention.
Though cuddly and submissive once she’s warmed up to her friends, Bella is very reserved and unsure of herself with strangers. She prefers to bond closely with one person while ignoring the rest of the world. She has progressed to the point where she will approach and take treats from strangers. But she needs her boundaries to be respected. She’ll require an adult-only household.
