Ruby’s face won us over and her energy was just what we needed for our charismatic, gregarious 3-year-old boy CJ. They hit it off right away when they played hide and seek in the hay bales on their first meet and greet and jumped over the obstacle jumps in the play area at the rescue ranch. Once Ruby came home, she was quick to learn which toys are hers (the squeaky ones), and she showed us how much she loves to fetch, and especially playing chase around the yard with a soccer ball. She is very affectionate, loves hugs and kisses, and gives kisses back as she leans into you. She found CJ’s bed the first night, unprompted and has slept there ever since. We look forward to many more adventures with this dog Ruby and her boy CJ.
