Meet the trainer
"I have always had a passion for animals, even as a young child. I started working with animals in high school working at a rehab center for fish and game working with and caring for exotic animals like monkeys, snakes, otters, possum, racoons and birds of prey. After high school I went to and graduated grooming school and became a dog groomer for 5 years specializing in poodles. I then made my career being a stay at home mom and child care provider.
In 1993 I started professionally training dogs for a company now known as Animal Behavioral Collage teaching group classes, in-home privates and behavior modification in the Orange county California area. I was the area manager for the South L.A.-Orange county area overseeing 14 stores and trainers. I worked for them for 11 years before coming to Southern Oregon. I have been training dogs and their owners ever since working with all types of dogs from 10-week-old puppies and up, from simple puppy problems to complex behavioral problems. I believe in using the most up to date scientific methods choosing force and fear free techniques. We will address your individual needs and issues. There is no one size fits all and I want to make sure that you achieve in creating a life time bond with your best friend."
