I currently live in Medford Oregon.
Last August 2019, we helped out a co-worker with re-homing their red merle Australian shepherd. The situation at the time was to foster him; we did not know if we would be able to keep him; we at least wanted to try.
Moving forward, we feel we do not meet Beau’s 2 yr old 45 lbs high demand level for exercise and “working” abilities. He seems geared in being a great working dog on a ranch or property to run. He knows basic commands etc. and is good in a leash. He’s good around older kids (10 yrs & up) tho tends to nip and herd the toddlers. (He hasn’t been exposed to livestock or cats.) Beau has met different dog breeds and he is compatible with most of them.
