Lava Fire Survivor: Presley

Presley by Eric Anderson

Meet Presley,

With a name hearkening back to the king of Rock n’ Roll, you just know we think Presley is a superstar. And he is! Presley is a survivor of the Lava Fire. He arrived at Rescue Ranch with severely burned paws and legs, and a badly singed face.  With incredible trust, he allowed us to treat and bandage his burns hundreds of times.  He never lost  patience and his spirit remained unbreakable while he recuperated in our adoption center.  His burns eventually fully healed. Ever since, he has continued to inspire us with his undimmable zest for life. With his natural joy for life, loving nature, and wagging tail, he lifted our spirits over and over again during an arduous year of dog rescue.

This injured Lava Fire dog is now ready for adoption!

Presley is a big, fun, happy, goofy dog who is still in the prime of life. He has a strong natural protective instinct but is quick to make new friends when properly introduced. And once you are in his big, loving heart, we guarantee you are there to stay. Presley wants to be the dog in charge and may do best as an only dog or with easy-going canine companions.

He has not been tested with cats, but we recommend a home without small animals. He’s a well-intentioned, intelligent fellow who will be easy to train with the help of treats (he loves snacks!) and praise (he is eager to please). It is absolutely amazing that his struggle to survive has not dampened his joyful spirit. We invite you to come to the Ranch to meet this wonderful dog and see just how special he is for yourself. We’re pretty confident that one look into his beautiful, warm brown eyes will be an experience you will never forget.

Want to meet Presley? Then come on down to the ranch to meet him today. You might just leave the building with a superstar!
