Look into my eyes

July 3, 2024 by

Whatever their color, dog eyes are always beautiful. Brown shades appear most frequently.  Amber shows up especially among liver-colored dogs, but in other coats as well.  The gold, honey, orange hues are beautiful. Ice blue eyes are more rare but occur often among merle coated dogs and Siberian huskies. Whereas in merles they sometimes come with health issues, there’s no such correlation in Siberians. Hazel is more rare but occurs in breeds where blue is common. Green eyes are unusual but not unheard of. Pitty breeds often have green or deep blue eyes.
