African wild dogs are endangered

June 29, 2022 by

They are considered the most social of the canids. Their well developed  communication skills lead to an 80% success rate when they hunt. Puppies get priority at feeding time, over dominant individuals. They can run at speeds of up to 44mph ( like a greyhound). They give birth in  abandoned warthog and porcupine dens. Sadly, African wild dogs are also an endangered species.
