Sencha is a lively young lad who is so eager to enjoy all the good things in life! He was raised through our puppy foster program last fall. Can you believe he is still looking for his forever family? Though he’s been overlooked time and again at the Ranch, Sencha would make a fantastic family dog for just about any home. Could you be the family this good boy has been waiting for?
Sencha has been described by his foster mom as affectionate, friendly, and highly social with dogs and people alike. He definitely acts like a lab: he’s exuberant, hardy, and loves to play in the mud (as he was doing right before we took these pictures!). He’s reached the energetic teenage phase and will need some consistent practice in the basics to help him control his enthusiasm. However, he’s had a great start so far! He is leash-trained, knows how to Sit for treats (like he did for these pictures!), and is quick to respond to positive reinforcement. With a little time, patience and guidance we know he will shine.
Sencha would love to find a home with an active family who will include him in all their outdoor adventures. He would thrive with access to a large yard to play in and plenty of daily exercise. We don’t know how he feels about cats, but he plays well in mixed groups of dogs here at the Ranch. He’d be delighted to join a multi-dog family.
