Meet Robbie

Robbie1

Handsome Robbie came to Rescue Ranch via the county shelter. Since he was picked up as a stray, we don’t know anything about his past. Whatever his story, he’s been through a lot in his short life. He came to us heartworm positive and has been through not just one, but two rounds of treatment! Poor Robbie just wants to run and play and goof around like the happy, healthy, young dog he is! Are you the family he’s been looking for?

Robbie is an outgoing fellow, and we know he will make some lucky family an energetic, playful companion. He would love to be included in your family adventures. Boating? Hiking? Camping? Swimming? Count him in! We do recommend a large, securely fenced yard so Robbie will have room to run and play. Due to his heartworm treatment, Robbie has had to spend a lot of time recuperating with restricted exercise. Consequently, we haven’t introduced him to playmates yet. It is likely he would do well with another confident dog like himself. As always, meet and greets with any potential roommates is required to make sure it is a good fit for everyone. He has not been tested with cats but we recommend caution when introducing him to any small, chase-able animals.

Robbie is currently at our Rescue Ranch sanctuary. If you are interested in meeting this beautiful boy, call the Ranch to arrange an appointment today!

Walk-ins are welcome, but please check our hours before coming to visit. If you’re coming from a long way to meet a specific dog, we encourage you to call us first to be sure they’re available and on site when you visit. Phone: (530) 842-0829.
