Meet Lain

Lain

Come on down to the Ranch to meet our big baby Lain! Lain is really just a puppy in an adult dog’s body. He’s a bashful soul who can be a bit shy with new folks. But once he warms up he shows his playful, goofy side and loving nature. Lain would make a great addition to any low-key, loving family who is looking for a good-natured, loyal, protective companion.

Lain is leash-trained and eager to please. He already knows “Sit” and “Paw.” If you ask him to “Sit pretty” he’ll even beg for treats–we bet you can’t help but smile! He could use a refresher course on not pulling on-leash but he is treat-motivated and quick to learn. Lain accepts the company of other polite dogs but doesn’t enjoy rough-housing.

We were told that he is safe with cats but we don’t know his history with kids. He might be a little overwhelming for younger kids or some seniors. But, with gentle guidance and lots of positive reinforcement, he’ll learn appropriate behavior and what his adopter expects of him.

Lain is a good boy, just waiting so patiently for his forever family, could that be you? Why not come by the adoption center and find out?

Walk-ins are welcome, but please check our hours before coming to visit. If you’re coming from a long way to meet a specific dog, we encourage you to call us first to be sure they’re available and on site when you visit. Phone: (530) 842-0829.
