Carter is such a good boy, and he’s been waiting for his forever home for such a long time. He came to the Ranch as a very shy puppy along with his three brothers last winter. He blossomed into quite an outgoing pup and soon found a home. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out and he ended up back at the Ranch through no fault of his own. And he’s been waiting for his second chance ever since! If you’re looking to share your adventures with an enthusiastic, affectionate, eager dog, Carter may be just the boy for you.
Carter combines an energetic play style with a people-focused, kind disposition. He’s had a good start with his leash training, knows how to Sit, and is eager to please. He’s highly social with other confident dogs and loves to romp and roughhouse. He’d love to have a playmate or two to goof around with. Carter would make a wonderful hiking buddy and is the ideal size for joining you for road trips, camping trips, walks along the beach–you name it. We think he’d do well in a family with children, too.
