How can this wonderful little dog still be with us? Bugsy came to the Ranch with a dislocated hip from the county shelter. We don’t know anything about her past but suspect she had a rough start in life. While we’ve all fallen in love with her unique blend of sugar and spice, we’d love to see her find her forever home in time for summer adventures!
Bugsy is a sweet, affectionate dog with people she knows and trusts. She is enthusiastic about the staff members here at the Ranch and will happily cuddle on a lap for hours. However, she’s less at ease with strangers and takes a bit of time to warm up to new friends. She needs a calm, reassuring home with gentle people who will help her feel safe and secure. The reward will be her trust and devotion for life!
Bugsy knows how to walk on leash and is a fantastic size for joining family adventures. She’d love to go for gentle walks or visits to the park. She is highly social with most other small dogs and would do well in a multi-dog family. We don’t know how she feels about cats. We recommend her for families with older children who can respect her boundaries while winning her confidence.
