Meet Boone

Boone1

We can just picture this laid-back dog on the front porch of a homestead somewhere out in the country. It could be his air of an easy-going gentleman, or maybe it’s his old-fashioned good looks. Either way, we’re sure the right home for this adorable dog is out there somewhere! Could it be yours? Read on!

Handsome Boone came to us from the county shelter in not-so-great physical condition. It looked like he suffered some neglect in his former life, but you’d never know it from his good nature and trusting disposition. Ranch staff describe Boone as a “phenomenal, people-friendly dog” with good manners on leash. He knows his basic obedience cues and we think he might make a good field dog once he’s practiced the recall command. Boone is dog-social and gets along well with other dogs after a proper introduction. He likes to patrol his fence line, so he’d also be a great choice for anyone looking for a guardian for their property.

We’d love to see Boone find his home in time for the holidays! If he sounds like the right dog for your family, call the Ranch to meet this good-looking lad today!

Walk-ins are welcome, but please check our hours before coming to visit. If you’re coming from a long way to meet a specific dog, we encourage you to call us first to be sure they’re available and on site when you visit. Phone: (530) 842-0829.
