This sweetest of sweet boys has so many emotions! Poor Blue has been tossed around from one place to another several times already and, consequently, he’s a bit insecure. He needs an adopter who will give him all the love and reassurance he requires!
He first arrived at Rescue Ranch last spring. His family had been through a divorce and he was shut down and afraid. He began opening up to staff member pretty quickly, though, and was lucky enough to find a home where he really seemed to click. Unfortunately, that home did not end up working out for him and Blue is back at the Ranch once more.
This time around, Blue has a bit more confidence in himself and every day he charms us with his joyful, sweet-tempered personality. He’s can be slow to warm to new folks, but once he does, he adores attention! He will even give you full-body hugs and lots of kisses if you let him! And did we mention that he is absolutely stunningly handsome?
Blue seems to prefer women to men, but we expect he will do well in any gentle family. He’s lived with a teen and would do best with older children who will respect his gentle nature. He is polite with other large dogs but might not be so good with little dogs.
