RESCUE RANCH SEEKING NOMINATIONS FOR 2016 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Rescue Ranch, Inc., a non-profit organization that has been caring for the injured, abused, neglected and homeless dogs of Siskiyou County and the surrounding communities since 2009, seeks committed individuals to serve on its volunteer, nine-member Board of Directors.

Directors are elected by the membership at the annual General Meeting for a one-year term and are expected to attend the monthly Board meetings, maintain confidentiality of Board discussions, perform committee work, attend the General Meeting which is held at the annual Open House the first Saturday in October, and support and attend special events.

Rescue Ranch invites nominations of members of the community who support the organizations mission, are prepared to serve as ambassadors throughout their term, will be loyal to the interest of the membership, and have time to devote to the work of the shelter. Nominees with knowledge, skills and experience pertaining to the general business world and possibly to the world of animal rescue would be highly valued, but also welcomed are nominations of those with other valuable attributes, talents and expertise to bring to the organization.

All current Directors are eligible for nomination.

If you know of someone interested in serving on the Rescue Ranch Board of Directors or are interested yourself, please send an e-mail to info@rrdog.org (with the word NOMINATION on the subject line) with your contact information and a brief sentence or two of what you feel your nominee or you would bring to the Board. Please feel free to contact us either by email or by phone (530) 842-0829 if you would like further information.

All nominations must be received by 4:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2015.
